Biodiesel Testing Instructions for Microbial Test

Biodiesel Test Instructions:

• Obtain biodiesel sample from tank or filler nozzle. For sampling procedures, equipment, and information, contact Fleet Biodiesel.
• Unscrew test kit bottle cap, removing test paddle. Be careful not to touch the paddle surfaces.
• Immerse the test paddle into the fuel sample, ensuring that both sides of paddle are coated.
• Drain excess fuel from test paddle by touching paddle tip on a clean paper towel.
• Replace the paddle into the test kit bottle, screwing the cap back on tightly.
• Store the bottle in a warm place (75°- 85° for best results) for at least 24 hours.
• Interpret the results as indicated below, and record the information in a Biofuel Quality Management Journal. Contact Fleet Biodiesel for Journals or on-line records.
