You can grow 2500 Jatropha plants per hectare
Each plant will reasonably produce 4.5 lbs. of usable seed per year on maturity.
1 hectare will produce approx. 11,250 lbs. of seeds per year
Based on conservative estimate, approximately 30% oil can be recovered.
1 hectare will produce about 3,375 lbs. (450 gallons) of jatropha oil.
7,500 lbs. of oil cake (a byproduct) can be sold/used as fertilizer.
95% conversion rate 1 hectare of Jatropha plantation will produce about 427.50 gallons biodiesel
