Biodiesel Testing: Each test described below is suggested to be a part of producing and using biodiesel fuel. Fleet Biodiesel has developed various kits for field testing - to be used with all biodiesel blends - from B2 through B100. They provide immediate, and unambiguous indicators of fuel quality. In cooperation with Fleet Biodiesel, we offer these test kits for quick and easy results. Please note: Biodiesel field testing does not substitute lab testing for ASTM 6751 compliance.

Water and Visual Clarity: Combination test kit for visual clarity and water contamination. Results within 5 minutes.

Acid Number: Acid number is a measure of biodiesel stability. Results within seconds. Choose FT-0120 for B5/B20 biodiesel blends, choose FT-0121 for B99 or B100 biodiesel.

Percentage Biodiesel: It is a threshold test to verify percentage biodiesel in blended fuels. Two versions are available: FT-0130 for B5 fuel and FT-0131 for B20 fuel. The threshold for the B5 version is set for 10% biodiesel; the B20 version is set for 30%. Kits are available for other biodiesel fractions by special order.

Total Glycerin: The Total Glycerin field test for B100 and biodiesel blends is the latest in our family of fuel test kits. This test requires no technical expertise or lab equipment and results are given for six levels, ranging from 0.05 to 0.5 (% total glycerin in mass), within two minutes immediately apparent. An ideal test kit for producers or fuel diagnosis.
