Recommended Biodiesel Test Schedule

Biodiesel test schedule depends on its specific application. Biodiesel fuel producer and user may have different needs. The type and frequency of the test, therefore, depends upon their acceptable levels of risk.

Following recommended testing guidelines are estimates only.

All producers, home brewers, and others engaged in the production or use of biodiesel fuel are strongly advised to adapt the recommended biodiesel testing schedule to meet their own specific requirements of fuel quality.

For Biodiesel Users: Assuming an individual user with one vehicle, refueling from a non-BQM supplier.

For Home Brewers & Small Producers: Assuming one 55 gallon storage tank and processing 40 gallons weekly.
